Chris Rawlins is a Chicago based singer-songwriter performing a blend of folk, jazz, pop and country styles. Coming of age as an English major, poet, Jazz trumpeter, and Alt rock bassist, he has taken many turns to arrive in Chicago as a songwriting troubadour, and has since won over crowds large and small with his unique take on finger style guitar and lyricism.
His music has been heard and performed across many platforms, from college radio stations including Loyola University’s WLUW, to regional festivals such as the Fretboard Festival in Kalamazoo, MI, to the March, 2016 release of his debut EP, Impressions: Volume One. Chris will be following up his EP with a full length album in the coming year.
